Did you know?
The Roman forum served as a city square and central hub where the people of Rome gathered for justice, and faith. The forum was also the economic hub of the city and considered to be the center of the Republic and Empire.
Forum offers a rotating format on Sunday mornings at 10am: Book Forum, Bible Forum, Open Forum, Social Forum, and the occasional Pastor’s Forum. By offering a variety of topics, Adult Forum appeals to more interests in Christian education and fellowship.
On Book Forum Sundays (1st Sundays of the month) a DLC member will lead an informal discussion of a book selected by the discussion leader. Attend even without having read the book to learn about books to read later.
Bible Forum Sundays (2nd Sundays) will continue with the New Testament video series Adult
Forum began viewing last spring.
Open Forum (3rd Sundays) will offer topical discussions. Topics may sometimes be arranged with prominent speakers and announced. Most Sundays DLC members are asked to bring their own topics of interest for discussion.
Social Forum (4th Sundays) will be a time for fellowship. Sign-up in the Narthex to bring refreshments or share as the Spirit moves.
The weekly bulletin and newsletter gives the selections and schedule for Adult Forum.
