Did you know?

A retreat can either be a time of solitude or a community  experience, and a retreat can be taken for reasons related to spirituality, stress, health, lifestyle, or social concerns.

We offer several retreats and mission trips every year.

Holden Village Retreat- www.holdenvillage.org.  Every few years a trip is organized to Holden Village located in north central Washington state in a remote area of the Cascade Mountains above Lake Chelan.  Trips are planned in both the summer and winter seasons.

Gualala Mission Worship Weekend - located on the coast of Northern CA, a worship leadership team, musicians and singers lead worship at Shepherd By the Sea Episcopal /Lutheran Mission.  The weekend retreat offers fellowship with members of the Mission and a respite along the ocean.

Mexico Mission Trip - www.amor.org.  Working with our sister congregation in Davis and through AMOR ministries this week long trip builds homes near Tijuana, Mexico.  This trip is a great opportunity for high school youth, and is open to any and all who are interested.

Winter Snow Retreat - Headed for the mountains near Lake Tahoe this youth retreat is a getaway weekend of snow play, fellowship, and worship.  Contact our youth director, youth@davislc.org

Synod Retreat and Mission Projects - www.spselca.org.  The Sierra Pacific synod offers many retreat and mission trip opportunities.

and the Rwanda School Project - www.rwandaschoolproject.org.  Two of our members spent a year in Rwanda working with the school project, and our synod offers mission opportunities to serve and visit our global mission church partner.
