For nearly 20 years the church has celebrated an annual tradition in Davis. UC Davis Picnic Day! Families and friends of the congregation have offered a BBQ on our front lawn on the corner of 8th and B. Many say, “Picnic Day isn’t complete unless I come by for BBQ at your church.”
The day is shared with a local non-profit organization, who partners with the congregation, and proceeds are distributed to the group. Over 800 people are served BBQ annually.
If you are interested in helping out with this annual event, a group begins meeting in the early Spring to plan and organize. Contact the church office.
