I’m the Word and Sacrament leader at DLC.  I was ordained in 1988,  graduating from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, OH.  I have served other churches in PA, KY, KS and now CA, and I come to DLC with a love for sharing Jesus Christ with people. 

Journeys of faith are filled with questions, when often we think faith is about answers.  Who is Jesus anyway?  Can I find a way to serve him?  By learning to live in the question I hope and pray I am open to the ways God graciously shows me gracious love.   

My iPod is loaded with classic rock, alternative metal, Sam Cooke, Bill Withers, Miles Davis and a podcast of a Detroit Tigers game.  I am married to Sue and we have twin boys who are now juniors in high school.  I lose sleep over auto insurance rates, future college tuition costs and how long the line at Ben and Jerry’s will be when I need a scoop of Cherry Garcia.
