Worship is very important to us, which is why we gather so often and in ways that help us listen for what we believe is a message of promise to the world.  Our worship gatherings reflect our ancient faith and our cultural place today.  Ancient/future, traditional, experimental, authentic.  Those are words that some have used to describe our worship.  We are always asking ourselves, in what ways can we express our thanks and praise for God’s grace?  In many and various ways.

Sundays (fall, winter, spring)

morning worship is at 9am and 11am

evening worship is Crossings worship at 6pm

9 am worship is a service committed to being a brief gathering.  Traditional in its approach it uses a variety of liturgical worship settings, in a shorter format.

11 am worship is a fully liturgical Lutheran worship service.  It uses a variety of worship settings from classical, jazz, folk, gospel and contemporary music styles.  It honors the traditional liturgical setting for worship.

(Summer)

10 am worship begins Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Crossings Alternative Worship & Music is being offered twice during the summer months at the 10am service time.  The setting is eclectic and creative, based on musical genres you might be surprised to hear in a worship service.  It is non-traditional and experimental by design.  Sing jazz, blues, rock, folk, and whatever musicians might have to offer, bringing the service to life.

Did you know?

Alleluia (or hallelujah) is a Hebrew word adopted by the Christian Church.  (Another familiar Hebrew word is amen, "so be it.")  Hallel is the greatest expression of praise in Hebrew.  Combined with Jah, the shortened form of the name of God, JHVH (meaning "I AM"), it becomes Hallelujah.  Alleluia is a Latinized spelling.
